Services

Diagnostic evaluation and “second opinion” consultation

A 90-minute comprehensive session involving assessment of symptoms, impact on functionality, genetic and medical issues and treatment planning. This also involves speaking with schools, therapists, and previous providers, if applicable, and a comprehensive evaluation document can also be provided if needed for outside services. If you are coming for consultation, discussion with your current psychiatrist or agency can also be arranged.

Medication management

This is the standard appointment and is 30 minutes in length. In this time we will discuss all new developments and progress, evaluate response to treatment, discuss benefits or issues with current medications, and make adjustments or changes as needed.

Comprehensive evaluation report

Frequently schools, outside agencies, benefits-providers and other entities will require or request a psychiatric evaluation report with physician recommendations for services or benefits. These can be provided upon request, but please note that several days notice will be necessary.

Fees for this report will be determined based on the amount of time required to generate them, as they are lengthy, specific and require significant consideration of your child’s needs

Regarding payment

Developing Minds does not currently participate with any health insurance plans. However, we will gladly supply statements to patients for reimbursement as per their out-of-network benefits. Payment is expected at the time of visit through cash, check, or credit card
